In the main house, the accommodation comprises six very comfortable bedrooms approached via an impressive yet charming gallery, hung with family portraits, typical of fine Jacobean houses of the period. The view from these rooms overlooks the lovely gardens and surrounding Dorset countryside.
A further ten extremely spacious rooms, with window seats overlooking the river and the topiary garden, are in the beautifully restored natural stone barn that surrounds the topiary courtyard. Four of these splendid rooms have access to car parking behind and so these are the ones into which dogs are allowed. Two of the courtyard rooms also have wheelchair access.
Home-made shortbread biscuits will be waiting for you in your room as well as everything you would expect of a fine country house hotel, i.e. private bathroom, colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, direct-dial telephone and hair-dryer.
